Charts are useless in the long run, IMO, "hold and mold". But none of us buy for the long run. I can buy a stock and it can become a long term holding if the chart keeps me in, but still I need the chart with it;s 200 day moving averages, etc, to keep me in. I think market makers play a lot of tricks in penny land with the charts, however. many fakeout breakouts. But big money is made on the penny and sub penny's percentage wise.
