I wonder how often these 3 steps are used in hospi

1-Low title volume ventilation where there is less pressure on the inflamed Alveoli (which means more CO2 has to stay in the blood rather than be released back into the lungs). This type of ventilation causes patients to be so uncomfortable with their breathing that they don't end up breathing in sync with the Low Title ventilating machine.
2- So they paralyze the patient through meds so the body syncs with the LT ventilator
3- Prone positioning (with the belly down and the back up). 17-18 hours a day. Reduces mortality from 40% to 16%
