Small Business is toast. If you don't have 400 employees and a good reference from your lender you are shitoutaluck. THe current bailout is out of money that was distributed to the top tier small businesses and left out the 50 employee businesses which include most all restaurants, minority businesses and mom and pop stores.
These are the backbone of real small business. 70% of the restaurants are gonna be lost for good.
Too add to the misery, the insurance companies who collect money for coverage are claiming this to be an act of God and will not cover their clients at the most important moment in history.
Just reopening will not be enough. Those that reopen early to no customers and no confidence by the average customer in the safety of their surroundings is a death sentence.
Additionally, we are heading into a FOOD SHORTAGE!!!!

The idea that we can just put a sign in the window saying OPEN is Folly.
The ground swell reaction in this country to the apparent lack of a plan by current occupants of leadership roles is gonna turn into a tidal wave of aggression against that leadership and empower Bad Actors to insure the reopening efforts to fail.
