I will not go into personal characterizations, let me say only that from previous experiences I don't trust anything Adam Feuerstein says (fortunately I did exactly the oposite of what he suggested and made some good money in some stock purchases)
One has always to ask: what is the motivation ??. However, he has a large following and, has become, in a way, a self-fulfilling prophet.
In regards to the GILD trial, it seems that there is a double-blinded trial as Dr. Philip Ozuah CEO and president at Montefiori was asked about Remdesivir trial (being carried out there at Montefiori) and he said that he had nothing to comment as the trial was doble-blinded and the results where not available until finalized. I had the hope he was going to refer as well to Leronlimab
So, either Dr. Ozuah is miss-informed about what is happening in his own hospital, or Feuerestein is stretching the truth. However, if they do have a trial it should be the same as we have, otherwise it would be unfair.
BTW for some, that was my point yesterday, this added to the fact that Leronlimab does not have any SAEs. If, by the contrary, GILD's drug has open-label, why not us ??
I have searched the Gov Trials site and still can't find the trial he was referring to. So, will keep searching for its publication.
