Love this song
Love the O'jays
Love Life
Love LIVE...
Happy Fri'jays to you...
"Money money money money, money
Some people got to have it
Some people really need it
Listen to me why'all, do things, do things, do bad things with it
You want to do things, do things, do things, good things with it"
Unfortunately bad people do bad things
Good people do bad things
Glad to be around good people that do, good things...
You know what is true?
You Are The Average Of The Five People You Spend The Most Time With
How do I know?
I read it on the internet
I read it on Medium
https://medium.com/the-polymath-project/you-a...ea32d08c72
Used to work with a guy that would sit in Sr. Leadership meetings and say
"You know, 73% or statistics are made up"
I would be the only guy that got the punchline
Average of the 4, 5, 10, 20 people you or ihang with?
There is a order about 10 or more, in most states BTW
So if you think you are the average of 20 people you hang with
Are you 1/2 the man you used to be?
Maybe
Or maybe you find other influences
Other influencer?
Influencing goes on 24x7
Parents trying to influence their kids
Kids trying to influence their parents
Dog says WTF
Dogs know
Dogs are straight forward
Give me a treat and that is all the influencing you have to do
Just a sample
Just a taste
Companies try to influence their customers
Customers in return, influence companies, what sells
What better way to influence people than give them a sample?
Get their feedback?
In the development world, this is one of the principles of why agile development is so successful
Give people of sample of what you are building sooner than later
Get their feedback right away and pull it into the product development
Beats spitting out of pile of the most honest 1000 lines
Influencing, eh?
Goes on all over
More than you realize
Some for the good
Some for the bad
Sampling, influencing, done by good people, leads to great things
When I invest in a company there are a number of things I immediate look at beyond the financials
1.) Does the company have a unique product or are there a lot of other players out there in the market place?
Are they doing the same thing better, or are they bringing new innovation to the marketplace?
2.) Do they have a BOD that they picked up at the schoolyard or executives from some great companies?
3.) Are they able to secure funding to accelerate exponental growth or do they have to grow incrementally based on what they take in?
4.) Are their customers happy?
5.) Are they developing new and innovate products or are they a one trick pony
6.) Do they have any patented technology?
7.) Do they have outstanding debt?
8.) Do they have any outstanding lawsuits of significance
So I think most of you can answer #1-7 and might want to post your perspective
Let me tackle #8
In the US, there is a never ending herd jerk
It's happening right now
Everyone starts singing about Zoom
Until one antedope decides to go run a difference direction
Herd follows
Herd leaves a mess on the ground
There are some that make a living following that sh-t
Picking up that sh-t
We are going to Zooma-Zooma-Zooma-Zoom
So lets go there...
All public info BTW...
If you spring for .10 a page
I'm in it $10 over the last few month
OK, maybe $15 as I binged read one weekend
SCOTT C. HARTMANN, Individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Plaintiff,
v.
VERB TECHNOLOGY COMPANY,
INC., and RORY J. CUTAIA,
J. Leister as Lead Plaintiff and named plaintiff Alexander Wolfson
Been watching your case for awhile
Watched a lot of other ones 'just like this'
Cookie cutter?
There is one little thing you don't know, but let's hold that thought...
Verb filed a motion to dismiss case on 02/28/2020
Plaintiffs filed a memorandum in opposition to motion on 04/10/2020
Basically comes down to the question
Did/was Oracle going to jointly market VERB's solution?
It's so silly
So freaking silly
Once it's done. They put it on their website.
Yeah Oracle
Yeah, that is called marketing
Guess what, a lot of people do there
Do you know if you were a netsuite user, you would get notified of what's new?
Yeah, that is called marketing
VERB actually did more than that as I remember Oracle asked for documentation and VERB was training Oracle on the product.
Why would you train Oracle if they were just going to hide the app in a closet?
Crickets?
The whole thing is based on speculation!
It's like someone watched a trailer to the movie and speculating the whole 2 hours and ending
On what planet can you do that?
Oh, one the cookie cutter planet
I am currently working with Apple on a big project. They are bring their partners to the table
Why?
Apple doesn't get a penny from that
It's because Apple wants their customers to be successful
And hopefully buy more products
Ecosystem, eh?
If you aren't into technology, you may not know how it all works
It's so sad these legal firms just cast a wide net
See a stock move
Dig up a few disgruntled traders
Eat your own Sloppy joe recipe
When you are on the outside, you have no clue what was agreed
At the end of the filing
"If the Court grants Defendants’ motion to dismiss in whole or in part, Plaintiffs respectfully request leave to amend"
You know you lost to put that there
White flag
There is no do-overs
No second chances
For $5-$10 you can read all the latest filings
I did
In my opinion...
There was never a case here
It's the typical see a stock move and then come up with any reason to pursue
I think the plaintiff never even understood the company or what happened
I think the plaintiff never even understood how companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce work, how their partnerships work.
How would they?
Do they work for Oracle?
Do they work for Microsoft?
Who knows
Who gives a rats ass
But I do
I've been working with these companies for years
Yeah, when you sign any deal with Oracle, Microsoft, Google, etc.
It comes with some things
Guess you should have looked it up
Marketing and Development
Whoa!
Glad they can do contact traces of trades now
Double Whoa!
But I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
You guys got time for 1 more?
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right, here I am
EMA Financial, LLC v. nFUSZ, Inc.
What a hullabaloo some made on this one
Anyone have a clue on this one?
There is a bit of a game
I've read contract so long they would put me to sleep
If you change one thing that could be to your great advantage
Would anyone know?
Would anyone notice a change on something so standard?
If no one noticed, could you get a multiple of what the other party agreed to?
Could you parlay that knowing it would drive them out of business and short the ever living sh-t out of the company?
If you guessed wrong, you'd have the warrants to cover, eh?
Speculation is a funny thing
Butterfly Effect
Chaos Theory
Funny thing happened
Judge said none of the rest of the document supports the 'tricked' formula
If you said the 'formula' is right
The rest of the document makes no sense
What would be an interesting redflix follow up
How many 'tricked' forumla contracts EMA did
Maybe this was the only one?
So, there you go
Draw your own conclusions I certainly drew mine
Yup, what I tought at the very beginning
Let's just say typical...
Wish SCOTT C. HARTMANN, J. Leister, Alexander Wolfson and EMA the very best in life
You gave it your best effort
Maybe the next one...
Maybe I might post class action legal firms?
No speculation, just public info
Maybe I might post EMA's track record?
No speculation, just public info
Maybe I post the butterfly effect of both?
Yeah, reminds me of something else
That something else
Now you know the facts
Look them up
What the BWers that only get info from other posters go into spin cycle
Did I mention good people do, good things?
Did I mention good people ignore fake critical thinkers?
We got some good things to do
Let's do them, together
Let's focus on the good
I got to finish my book
Everyone else...
