Long Post for Investors (redflix S6E17) How abo
Post# of 32633
How about a little Dr. J...
I been in the right place, but it must have been the wrong song
I been in the wrong place but it must have been the right song
I think VERB, us co-owners are in the right place, the right time
I see how COVID 19 has crushed so many jobs and lives
Not going to be over next week either
Will be around for a year or...
Will linger beyond that
I'm excited when I hear countries getting back to work
But...
Are you getting on a plane anytime soon?
Are you planning a Winter cruise?
Are you going to a Rolling Stones concert anytime soon?
Heard ridership on trains is down 97%
Going to be a climb back to 50%
Society might change for the next 5, maybe 10 years until people forget
Not all bad as pollution might get under control
Might be a blessing in disguise for great grand children
Especially those 5 feet above sea level
Might not need all these big office buildings as much either
People might not spend 10-20% of the waking hours commuting
What a waste of resources
Once people learn how to work remotely
Once companies learn how to measure and reward performance
They might just find, a boost to their bottom line?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure VERB is in the right place, at the right time
Very fortunate as I know so many other business are hurting
Furloughed?
What's that?
"leave of absence, especially that granted to a member of the armed services"
But what if I am not in the armed services?
What if I'm armed?
What if I provide services?
You know, Jack Bauer 24 type stuff?
Is it pay without work?
Or no work and no pay?
I think Furloughed is a fancy word for...
Getting kicked to the curb
But we wantcha back, if we need you later...
That makes people feel .001% better, thanks!
VERB is the right time, right tool for companies to increase their revenue
Sweet spot
A couple of comments after watching both videos today
As of user of Skype, Teams, WebEx and Zoom. Some days using all of them on the same day as I work with a lot of vendors, there is something different with VERB LIVE that you may not know unless you use all the others
All the others...
I am talking about something more than interactivity, which BTW, none of them have
None of them
I guess they don't have a patent either
I am talking about something more than CRM capabilities with the analytics, which BTW, who wouldn't want your video conferencing integrated into your CRM system with real analytics?
Salesforce, hello?
Microsoft, I think you are on mute
None of them are a CRM solution combined with conferencing
Last I checked Salesforce didn't even have conferencing
None of them
What I do see is a User Interface (UI) that is very simple to use
What happens on Skype, Teams, WebEx and Zoom is there are so many buttons, you can't find the ones you want
Hey, where the f did my unmute button go!!!
People are asking me a question right now!!!!
Yup, it happens all the time for a couple of reasons
When vendors upgrade, they move those little important things around
They also hide it until you hoover over something
Until you do the Mousey Pokey
You move your mouse up
You move your mouse down
You move your mouse right
You move your mouse left
You do the Mousey Pokey and turn yourself around
You do the Mousey Pokey and that is what it's all about
Oh, no wonder why I can't find it
"Sorry I was on mute" is the #1 first line someone says
Very few conferences go by without someone saying that
Why didn't they know?
It's because the UI sucks!
People in a panic, do the mousey pokey when people are waiting on them to speak
Red, you had two points beyond the mousey pokey...
Second comment is the numbers McKinley shared
I think it proves what we all were thinking
People can't do the belly to belly anymore
Don't want to do the mask to mask
Got to go digital
Gotta go digital
Something dawned on me when I was watching the video and why the numbers are off the charts
Everyone is at home
Thanks captain obvious!
Sales people are at home
Customers are at home
Sales people and customers are at home
But wait, master the obvious has a bit more...
It's unfortunate everyone is at home
But what I noticed is...
I've never seen in all my years since email was invented, is how fast people are responding to emails
10 times faster...
It's like they have nothing else to do...
It's like they are craving for a connection...
It's like they have more time since they aren't traveling or sitting in meetings that they can't multi-task
Yeah multi-task
I hear a lot of people predict the future
I'm the only one taking about the multi-task effect
Right up there with the butterfly effect
Now that the majority of workers can multi-task
What is the butterfly effect of that?
That is some redflix chaos theory thinking there, eh?
Better to be riding the wave, than ripped on the rocks
THIS is prime time to use an app like VERB to sell
How else would you do it?
How else could you do it?
Many people don't pick up the phone these days unless they know who is calling
Postcards?
Flyers on windshields in a parking lot?
Flyers rubber band to door handles?
Driving down the neighborhood with a loudspeaker and throwing samples out the window?
Conversion rates would suffer, but the latter would be fun
Going to put something in context for investors...
"To put this growth in context, as of the end of December last year, the maximum number of daily meeting participants, both free and paid, conducted on Zoom was approximately 10 million. In March this year, we reached more than 200 million daily meeting participants, both free and paid."
Zoom has exploded 20 fold
Yup, a lot of them are free users they are hoping to convert to paying
But until then, they are taking BIG pac man bites out of the bottomline
Why?
While video conferencing is highly profitable as you saw the last year with Zoom
It's not cheap to do either and something you are not going to make up on volume by giving it away for free
https://blog.zoom.us/wordpress/2020/04/01/a-m...our-users/
Zoom going 20 fold in a month and they have a boat that is leaking
I took this picture walking out of a mom and pop restaurant a year ago or so
Helps me keep grounded
Might help you
Thanks for being part of the our journey and supporting me in documenting it for us.
A bit of humor for you...
How some Zoom conferences go...
