To be clear, and there are few who will disagree with me on this topic, there are NO similarities between data from CYDY’s FDA approved EIND COVID patients and information from a Facebook post claiming a handful of COVID patients improved after treatment from a Naturopathic clinic. Like I said yesterday, a chiropractor is posting videos, only referring to himself as a “Dr.” and claiming miracle treatments for COVID, such as tonic water for prevention. Anyone can post a story on social media and claim a treatment is working for COVID. Not everyone gets an EIND approved for COVID and has laboratory data proving the MOA and positive clinical outcomes.
“Do you screen new patients over the phone or just answer a hot line?”
That’s not nice as you’re discounting health care workers who are serving in these roles. There are hundreds of nurses and other healthcare professionals (including dentists) manning 24 hour COVID hotlines across the country. That’s an important job as it prevents patients from overwhelming family practice clinics, urgent cares, and ER’s with complaints that can be ruled out as COVID19. On the flip side, it allows potentially COVID positive patients to be redirected to “sick clinics” where they won’t come in contact with “well” patients. Because of COVID I have done some telehealth and will continue to do so until COVID clears while seeing acutely sick/injured patients as needed.
