Yes, there are a couple of posters that discount everything, but I ignore them.
“then discount they can be used without needing a building.”
I hope you are trying to say that they don’t necessarily need to have the reactors installed in the future Nano factory, that they could be operated in another building, assuming that that building has at least some sort of lab, support and safety equipment. I don’t see the reactors being operated out on an open field.
“Its clear the reactors work as they said they will use them for producing nanomaterials.”
Spend some time and listen to the video. They are hoping to make nanoparticles, but they are a long way from making that work.
1. The reactors are “lying with us in Tech City”. Sounds like they may be lying in a storage location on site? Granted, there is a lot of room for interpretation based on the English language skills of the Director, but I am not convinced that the reactors are installed in a suitable facility and up and running.
2. They are missing the chemical reagents and other things, like the deminerializing plant needed to operate the reactors. He put a forty odd day target on obtain those things.
3. He spoke of “starting up actually our new system in the country”.
4. He also said, ”I am also going to move a proposal to the Mission Director of The National Health Mission Government of Assam that they allow us to start this initiative because we would need government support at this point of time in importing the various goods, machinery, raw materials, testing of these, you know, gold particles of silver particles and things like that.”
5. He said, “The only good thing that I see is that we have already space. We also have part of the technology with us. We have to assemble the rest of it and start working.“
Can they find an appropriate location, get the supplies and equipment needed, get approval and government or outside funding, and get expert support? Maybe but “Chances of failure also very high”
Can the reactors make the appropriate particles that will have the needed antimicrobial properties? Probably, but that is up to QMC. And if that is the case, I would think that we will see something from QMC shortly, announcing that they are making the needed nanoparticles in Texas for distribution in the USA. India will lag behind.
Another point is that as the State of Assam’s leading Information & Communications Technology (ICT/IT) entity, I would think that AMTRON’s primary focus must be on supporting Assam’s medical community, schools, universities, businesses and government with internet services and remote communications. That is their primary mission.
If the production of nanoparticles to fight Covid is really critical, then would it be more appropriate and expeditious for the Government of Assam to “borrow” the reactors and put them in an existing lab/production facility with their best nano-scientists to operate them, rather than the IT guys from AMTRON? It will be months before the Tech City nano factory will be in need of the flow reactors.
The greater good in a crisis. Let Amtronics India focus on construction of the nano factory for future QDSC and LED production and let AMTRON focus on their core mission of maintaining critical communications and internet services in Assam to support medical and government services, education, employment, and the safety of their citizens.
“I can think of a number of things covid related that could be made for India alone that could bring in a lot of money in short. Ted was headed down that road today with his posts.”
No, I’m on a different road. As a State-owned corporation, AMTRON is responsible to the Government and citizens of Assam, not to bringing in a lot of money for QMC shareholders.
“BTW ..thanks Ted for concrete proof the bashers were wrrrrroooooonggggggggg!!!!”
Its easy for the bashers to criticize the fan club when there is so much wrrrrroooooonggggggggg on both sides.
