I believe because CytoDyn is a publicly traded company, the SEC requires it to publicize only through investment publications/media such as Dow Jones newswire that carried the PR today (I believe company paid for that) and ProactiveInvestors.com which interviewed Dr. Lalezari and Dr. Pourhassan today... and lots of others that are investor related ( Nasdaq, wsj, Seeking Alpha, Finance.Yahoo ... all had something today) but when you see AP newswire have Leronlimab news, it's via Globe Newswire , also today but not on its own...

The above only tells me that regular mainstream press/media isn't touching it because the company cannot go to them, probably due to SEC regulations... I think if the press/media comes to the company or asks for an interview (free of charge), company officials can accept and do that (like done with Fox on interview programs, not produced news story or CBS Los Angeles).
I'd bet top national leaders are by now fully aware about Leronlimab but it must have to do with the fact trials are being done and it's a small unproven biotech company/drug ... this is why it is necessary the FDA move this...
