I thought this was an interesting quote from the Morgan Stanley note:

Only by building production capacity now can governments provide the billions of vaccine doses we need to meet demand for the 2021 season.
This implies to me that its not a race. Anyone with a viable vaccine is part of the solution.
Lets say we need 4 billion vaccines to get the planet to herd immunity. Also that 15 companies develop a viable vaccine. This means each company's vaccine will treat 200m people. At $10 a pop that's a cool $2b to NGIO top line
