There are only a very few people who have malign intent, but they have many identities, some of which try to masquerade as investors so that they can sow subtle FUD, AKA "soft-bashing." They try to gain people's trust. Then there are the nutcase identities, in which they write vulgar and seemingly crazy posts and PMs, to try to disrupt the board.

It must be hard to keep track of so many identities. That's why on occasion they have posted under the wrong identity -- which proves to us exactly who the alter egos are, on this and the other board. I particularly like the time that loanranger accidentally posted under his purportedly bullish identity and proved definitively what I had suspected.
