Shrug. You lacked the necessary background to properly put that passage into context. I wanted to give it to you. I assumed that by posting an article from a scientific journal you would enjoy learning about it. But it somehow bruised your ego. Fair enough. One last thing. Believe it or not it is not uncommon for authors of reviews similar to the one you posted to get 'lit up' as well. Except it's in a published rebuttal. Imagine how condescending that must feel. But that's science. Embrace being wrong and embrace learning new things and you will be much better for it.
