IMO, the loss of Gottlieb as head of FDA is one of the biggest losses this country has seen in recent times. The FDA is sadly an antiquated and stuck in the mud organization of non-achievers content to cash a government check. They are medical politicians greatly influenced by special interest groups, lobbyists and the soon to be inflationary dollar. IMO, most could not pass mustard in the private sector.
I hold three speculation type stocks (2 others beside DECN) and each one has been played and is played by the FDA bureaucrats. IMO, each one will ultimately get table knocked but it’s been an arduous time. One has essentially moved all trials out of the country due to
the cumbersome politics. All will greatly benefit humanity with proven science and disruptive capability. All will have there day this year. All are over 7 year holds.
Ask yourself how do so many government officials have net worths greater than $1M?
For the matter at hand. The DECN test kit (or something similar) are needed NOW. We can’t get back to normal stuck in the mud with 5 min, 10 min 20 min test results. It’s fxxing NOT acceptable.
Trump is working hard to break bottlenecks. He essentially told Fauci we are going to use hydro chloroquine as a therapeutic and you can either agree or can exit stage right. Right to try saves lives.
I gave no idea what the FDA is going to do. However, I don’t think Hahn will stomach the assault if the strip tests are introduced overseas first. NFW will Trump let that happen. NFW.
If Gottlieb knows Berman, if Gottlieb has Trumps ear, if Gottlieb is the multi network TV influencer he seems to be, if the publicity guy is gold, if the tests are plus 95% accurate, inexpensive and individually administered, if the tests can be mass produced quickly, if Giroir says we will have mass testing capability available in May, if Gates says strip testing us coming, then .... (connect the dots and fill in the blank).?
Sadly, and IMO, this virus isn’t some wet market originating disease and it’s origination is very troubling.
