This article on Gilead’s trial reminds me of how lawyers weed out potential jurors to shape a jury that will most likely side with them. Gilead avoids the critically ill, avoids those with meds, picks patients who are past the worse part of the illness and so on.
Did anyone really believe that BP wouldn’t try this approach? They have a long history of doing just this, so why change now?
The good news is that someone pointed out their short comings. Will it matter? Probably not, because it’s Gilead.
