Hopefully other television stations will now begin to follow up on Leronlimab .
This patient, Samantha Mottet (55), had fever and extreme fatigue in mid-March and a week later was admitted to UCLA Medical Center . They apparently tried two other treatments to get her off a ventilator which did not work. It was after that her doctor and family according to the report approached Dr. Otto Yang who is leading a trial of Leronlimab . This makes me wonder if Mottet's doctor requested having Leronlimab , as opposed to this patient being one of the ones brought in for the trial. Something about the timing and remember what Dr. Jay Lalezari said in that April 1 article:
Quote:
Lalezari said that doctors treating COVID-19 patients can request the use of Leronlimab by applying to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its EMERGENCY use as treatment for COVID-19.

Also wondering now if her doc is Lalezari himself, lol
