Shelly: just a brief supplement to Lawman's interview suggestions. All of Lawman's suggested pivots were excellent. But from Nader's perspective, his focus should be on the first 3. Anything beyond 3 points of emphasis in a short interview would overload Charles and the tv jury. The way to do the pivots is to first answer the question from Charles (witness needs to be responsive to questions asked), but to do so in as few words as humanly possible (assuming Charles didn't ask the right question), and then say "moreover" followed by 1st bullet point. Repeat same tactic with next 2 questions/comments from Charles, again using "moreover" as the segue. Charles and the audience quickly become conditioned that the important info is the stuff that comes after "moreover."
