Some poster mentioned that Leo is 62 and that selling the entire Brilacidin franchise would be a good idea. Is there anyone on this board that actually believes Brilacidin is anywhere close to its peak value at this time? Brilacidin will be worth many, many multiples of what it is worth today as a possible COVID-19 treatment and a preferred treatment in a $48B IBD market. B-OM is probably another $1B per year. Kevetrin could be a 2nd goldmine drug once IPIX has funding to advance it.
If Leo’s motivation was just money he could have cashed in his chips when the stock was close to $5 several years ago when he was still in his late 50’s and retired with $150M in his pocket. Any discussions about IPIX selling off any assets at this point in time are either foolish or soft basher attempts to condition Longs away from what the eventual opportunities are as the Brilacidin science advances to market with multiple instances.
IMO Leo is committed to and focused on getting life-saving drugs to market as his legacy. Period.
