Crisis management "How to Bounce Back from Advers

To varying degrees, no one is exempt...I know that "I'm just shot".
I’m in the booze business, and I’ve seen first hand, in New England and the Tri-State region, how brutal the on-premise closing directives have been, to so many good, hard working people.
One of my mantras..." Don't sweat the small stuff...this too, shall pass" is being put to a severe test.
Small stuff? Hell, no!
This, too, shall, pass? Without a doubt!
Should we sweat the big stuff?
No, it’s really tough, but we should try not to. Without a doubt, this is certainly scary shit, and worthy of considerable concern…..with, possibly, many unknown ramifications existing, yet to be revealed.
Covid-19 and the markets, have placed major constraints and stress on businesses, as well as one’s personal lives and livelihood...the nastiest, of demoralizing curve-balls, to deal with.
$VERB, and our investments as long term shareholders, are no exceptions...we certainly have hurdles to navigate. I’m highly confident, though, Rory and team will succeed at negotiating any existing impediments, and continue on the path towards, ultimately, a huge success story.
Additionally, the ZM debacle has opened doors not previously ajar….creating opportunities to vastly increase investor awareness. Not to mention, the potential to get our $VERB applications out to the masses, and implemented….with our associated shareholder value increasing exponentially.
My substantial $VERB long, and long standing position, continues to be rock-solid...having never been a flipper or trader, and continuing to buy both stock and warrants. Our company is one of my favorite holdings, one I’m most excited about, and, imo, holds the biggest up-side potential.
Throughout my life, I’ve thrown the words resilience, and perseverance around, A LOT, at anyone close enough to hear them...and at six feet, these days, many are lucky enough, to be out of earshot.
Sorry… advance warning. :o(
Resilience, adherence, patience, and perseverance are called for now, more than ever before …..without a doubt.
But we have to try, not to panic..it’s all still good. Actually, investment wise, considerably better than good…potentially, great!
Just think for a moment, about the innovative, patented, proprietary software applications we’ve developed....an outstanding game-changing product line!
And…. We’ve got ’em, they don’t!
Nothing comparable, singularly unique, protected….and nearing roll-out, to a massive market eager for a new distancing solution, now, and in the foreseeable future...maybe, even generations. The “new normal” might have our $VERB product line being implemented, across the board in most everyone’s daily life.
Just think about that plausible scenario playing out for a second…..what that would mean for the company, and all of us co-owners!
Certainly, having been a compounding, equity income "investor" for a few decades now, those often repeated (r.a.p.p.) words, have held great significance to me, on multiple occasions...and this point in such a trying time, is no exception, but perhaps the toughest yet.
The combination of major family, health, and financial concerns….all huge worries, all in play simultaneously….sucks, big-time!
And, without a boat-load of sporting events, and entertainment diversions, helping many of us "escape" to a degree.....the pain, and anxiety can be more profound.
But, in time, with a huge portion of the entire world, working as one united front, we will prevail...I’m convinced of that!
Anyhoo, fwiw, the previous article mentioned above, ( Link way :o( back up top) offers up some interesting thoughts, perspectives, advice, and coping mechanisms...a good read, imo, for anyone's alone time.
Finally, the most important consideration…. Please be safe out there! This “hidden enemy” means business, doesn’t play favorites, and, at least for the time being, we’re all at high risk.
PS The HBR offers up other compelling reads...one might be interested in, as well.
