BASED ON RECENT PR - SUPERB PROGRESS IMO:
- 2 patients ALREADY ENROLLED in randomized trials! This is very fast considering they just started on Friday! Imagine the logistical challenges. Clearly NA’s claim that these tests are over subscribed and doctors are supportive is probably true.
- 5 additional seriously patients TREATED under the emergency IND. This is very positive as it is a indication of the doctors confidence, regardless of where it was done, the doctors do talk to each other!
- 2 “have already been extubated” is probably an attempt to clarify the count issue. Remember all 10 initially treated patients immune system in the lungs were normalized - huge positive. How much damage had already occurred in these patients is unclear. Hopefully many of them will now have a better chance to heal sufficiently to be extubated. Other organs were probably also affected. There is no guarantees for such patient. Fingers crossed!
