Proponents of HCQ are ignoring several things:
Adverse Cardiopulmonary effects, possibly deadly
Adverse Mental/Emotional effects, possibly deadly
Most of the benefit has been seen IN COMBINATION with Azithromycin ... HCQ by itself has show little to no effect in severe patients (which is what the world needs) and low effect in mild cases (~24hrs faster recovery), but that is STILL TENUOUS / NOT SCIENTIFIC. Azithromycin is, in all probability, responsible for most of the benefits erroneously being attributed to HCQ.
But nobody wants science/facts... HCQ is the Toilet Paper of treatments; you don't need to wipe your butt when you have no food to eat, but the myopic and scared will rush out and try to grab as much as they can anyway. You can take all the HCQ you want, but if you get ARDS, it will NOT do SQUAT.
