I didn't realize (remember) about the sister ship

I didn't realize (remember) about the sister ship but did just tell my wife. Yes we walked the deck and believe we went below deck too. I recall my father in law telling me he was the pilot so I gather his buddy was the gunner. I do clearly remember him saying they practice diving over land hill sides and mountainous areas. He said he actually had scene a couple of his buddies during practice dive bomb runs not have enough time to pull up. They get caught in the slush and not enough time/distances to break away.
