Nobody can afford to buy out Cytodyn. If you work the numbers for this drug if approved. Use 9 billion world population and they say 40% get infected. Be very conservative and use 10% infected. Of those 10% the severe are 3.5% and need 2 doses over two weeks. Then use $40,000 a year therapy divided by 52 weeks at $769 a weekly dose. Being ultra conservative in these figures that’s over 48 Billion with a “B”.
If we choose to use the predicted figures and our higher sale price of $60,000/year...it’s over 200 billion.
Tell me who buys us out at that revenue and know if a vaccine doesn’t come through and this is an every year revenue until a vaccine is designed. This is stupid to even ponder the thought of being bought out by big Pharma. We as a company will be the largest pharmaceutical company in the world in a short couple of years if no vaccine proves out and is approved.
