At this difficult time, that’s good enough for the medical experts at the FDA to recommend it for emergency use. They believe benefit outweighs risk.
Bottom line, some patients cannot afford to be skeptical. They don’t have time to wait until Phase 3 is done. Deperate times call for deperate measures. Until better and safer treatments are available, why not look at the bright side and be happy that the drug is saving some patients’ lives?
