Yes, there are always exceptions to the rule...when I asked my one friend,who has Covid and is a nurse also, about not having her HQ for Lupus, she said it would suck til she got it. But also mentioned she could go a few days before her symptoms got really uncomfortable due to the half life of the HQ. So, basically for a couple days she would be uncomfortable and increasingly so as the delay went on. BUT, AND THIS MAY ONLY BE A LUPUS THING, she would not die without it. Not sure what else besides lupus and RA it’s used for. But for those two, it’s therapeutic not life sustaining. But of course, it still sucks not to have any med that improves your quality of life. Let’s hope that if this is part of the solution the President invokes the Production Act to make sure all pharmaceuticals make enough to sustain everyone that needs it daily, and those that may need it to save their lives.
