Having animals in unsanitary conditions near unprotected humans is going to cause further outbreaks of as-yet unknown viruses.
Only 30% of the initial cohort of known Chinese infections could be traced back to that wet market. Now the claim is that the virus was out there earlier, but not recognized. We'll never know the truth about this thing's origins.
