Have laddered lowball bids. Let's see if they are dumb enough to fill me.
It's one thing to bash the stock when there is no news for a long period of time.
It's quite another to be short when there could be news literally any day that could create a breakaway gap up that will never be filled.
Note: someone asked me awhile ago if gaps always have to be filled.
NO. There is such a thing as a breakaway gap -- in which something gaps up or down and that gap never is filled. For instance, anyone think that this cruise ship line's gap at 42 will be filled in the foreseeable future? It's now trading at around 8.50.
