8K is random company news/announcement, there is no due day for 8K !! it is not a financial report, 8K can be filed even if there are delinquent financial reports.

Fiscal Q1 Report (July-Sept) is due on October 14
Fiscal Q2 Report (Oct-Dec) is due on Feb 14 of following year
Fiscal Q3 Report (Jan-March) is due on May 15
Annual Report (July-June) is due on Sept 28
10Q is quarterly report, 10K is annual report, 8K is company news/announcement
All delinquent 10Q/10K reports have to be filed first before the up coming 10Q or 10K report can be files.

Case history:
Delinquent 2017 10K and subsequent three 10Q's were filed on April 30, Aug 13, Aug 27 and Sept 7, 2018 respectively, bring filing status to current, then the 2018 10K which was due on Sept 28 was filed late with a 15-day extension on Oct 16. Then good news of licensing agreement was out on November 19.
I eagerly hope the delinquent 10K and the two delinquent 10Q will be filed this month, if it happens, the rocket will be launched upon filing of the 2020 Q1 report which is due on May 15, also filing of the delinquent reports is an indication that good news will follow. Hope the COVID-19 will not hinder the filing.
