The lack of any type of news is very troubling. I have a bad feeling that nothing has progressed on the China front. And that nothing can progress until they acquire money from somewhere. I believe that dont want to waste the $40m equity raise on anything Corona related too risky. I think if we are to get something out of Corona it will have to be an organic money raise from investors or govt grants.
Also from some of my conversations with Todd i was led to believe that the document we signed was only a loose memorandum of understanding. No official contract had been signed. I say this because i asked specific questions about payments(the $2m breakup fee) that Todd couldn't answer because he said that info essentially had not been flushed out yet. Consequently this means that no official contract with specific detail has been signed.
A recent article in the boston globe states that Epivax still needs 5.5 million before it can move forward to create the vaccine. This was an article from the 30th. Joe's trip was in vain and there will be NO vaccine until funds are secured. Its probably too late at this point as they are a month behind everyone else.
They made a nice effort but it was a million to one for a company with no money.
Were just spinning our wheels at this point wasting valuable time that now should be spent on more important and realistic opportunities. Times up. Cut bait and focus on core.
