It is random , medicine look the same and is mark by numbers ,
Number of drug is recorded in patients chart ...
Normally after study is finished they open the numbers , see if it was placebo or drug...
But in emergency , when patients becoming worse doctors contacting company and FDA , and they are allow to see what patient is on.
I trust doctors who are doing studies , they usually very serious , and observe patients very carefully...
