I'm wanted to make sure people understand the implication for the results thus far. One of the biggest issues we are having right now is the fact that extubated Covid patients tend to de-recruit very often and need to be re-intubated. This is part of the major problem with not having enough ventilators nationally. Our drug thus far seems to greatly reduce the tendency of these patients to de-recruit via its immunological effects. If these results continue it will be a God send for us in the ICU. They won't be able to make enough to meet demand.
