You talk a lot about mind control, but all you're really complaining about are fact that contradict your beliefs.
By being open to ALL possibilities you are also open to conspiracy theories and junk-science.
It's one think to be open and another to be helpless to discern fact from fiction.
The sources you revile are susceptible to making mistakes, and all have policies to publicly correct them.
Not so for most of the sources you post.
Science is far more advanced than it was for the examples you've given. Fewer things are outright dismissed as impossible, but so too are far more things subjected to the rigor of a scientific method; in the non-junk science world anyway.
