My father was the head cook of an Italian restaurant, owner was real Italian. My father was a meat and potatoes kind of guy, grew up on a farm, 1 of 12. When my father worked most nights, my brothers and I, were subject to my mothers crazy ass eating habits. Every night in the summer, she would make us eat, about 6-10 raw vegetables every night for supper, most grown from our garden. Have even eaten tofu, not my first or last choice, or any choice in between. But I learned alot about nutrition, not by choice. And by far, your diet is the most important. When they say, you are what you eat, they aren't kidding. Raw vegetables are the most effective way to get vitamins, the more you cook them, the less they contain. Ya get yourself a good vegetable dip and you're good to go.
Best and easiest veg/chip dip.
Cream cheese (block)
Milk to consistently of dip
Garlic salt to taste
Bingo!
You could get your kids to eat skunk with this dip, vegetables, no prob. I just thank god, my old man put his foot down when he was home, and we had some chicken, or burgers on the grill.
Sorry for the high life rambling, but eat healthy and it will take you way more miles in life. I know this, but don't live by it myself. So take it for what it's worth. Glta!
