When we see examples of disturbed, mentally ill individuals posting here, in addition to feeling sorry for them, it makes us grateful that at least WE don't have problems like that to deal with.
We're all dealing with lots of stress now. It's helpful to feel sorry for those less fortunate than we are.
However, there's no reason to subject yourself to rants.
I highly recommend using the ignore button when you seen one of those posts pop up.
