Welcome to the board! When CytoDyn took over from Rexray Corp, 2003, O/S was 6M. The largest shareholder in 2008 had 3M shares. Whatever shares the original couple had, I believe 1M, have probably been long sold.
Any shares being sold now originated from private stock offerings, moved over from TA account to broker account and sold into the float. There have been a few million of these shares sold into the float over the last couple months, because I track that movement of shares from TA account to broker account on the private board using info published at otcmarkets. Also the short interest has spiked to 6M, so we have a good size short position for an otc stock right now, those shares sold into the float also over the last couple months.
