Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed as an investor in this company, given all of the things that they are pursuing – – I think about how challenging it must be to manage a company like this. It is almost as if this were several biotech companies rolled into one. The problem is, unlike Gilead who has an army of people in different divisions, we have a very small handful of folks who do it all. Clearly their execution isn’t perfect, but I think they are absolutely busting their asses.
I laugh to myself at some of the armchair quarterbacks who criticize Nader, but wouldn’t last two seconds trying to manage this company in this environment. Oh well, they will still benefit in the end despite all of their bitching and moaning.
