The breakdown in the price of crude oil to just ov

At the same time the profitability of the oil companies are severly affected and they don't want to shrink their resources at low prices.
Would solar energy development be affected? A short time ago, oil companies had high plans for large scale solar because 1- they know oil is not a limitless resource 2- they saw the need to diversify their energy production to provide future revenue and production capacity, 3- low fixed cost of expenses and ongoing revenue.
There are also many different types of solar energy being developed. The most common are standard silicon solar panels with different schemes for hybrids that add a layer of Perovskite to top off the efficiency. There is not much room, if any, for further cost reductions as the Coronavirus will effect their economics negatively going forward.
QDSC to be manufactured by Qamronics has a much lower cost. Both the factory and QDSC production could have conservatively as low as 3x lower cost of production or more. The contribution of the QD to the JV is s huge cost savings, and R2R printing at hundreds of meters per minute is true industrial mass production. Regional Factories allow tuning the QD to the predominant local climate, and also cut transportation costs to where they will be used. Profit will vary with cost of materials, cell efficiency and speed of production. QMC/Solterra's goal has always been to be the LCOE- Lowest Cost of Energy (or Enterprise, take your pick).
The Assam Qamronics QDSC Plant is already funded and we are all awaiting news of construction and completion.
