friday march 19,2020 press release please note words" sickest covid-19 patients"
Press Release:
Quote:
A leading academic medical center has administered the test medication, leronlimab, in two of their sickest COVID-19 patients.
crazyjogger925, not sure WHO you were responding to, or WHAT you were responding to -- but just wanted to shed a little light on the actual condition of those two patients as described by NP in the last call.
The Press Release quote includes the all-important qualifier: "their" -- which only means those are the sickest patients that they have -- but not the sickest patients that can be found with COVID-19.
NP stated that those two patients were NOT in later stage ARDS. Please see the excerpt below in which I have bolded meaningful text, added missing characters or words in [brackets] , and colored in red meaningLESS text.
And, of course, here is a link to the recording: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPqa6F0rVXE
38:09 [Question] okay so Tony's asking how are the two
38:11 virus patients have the two virus
38:14 patients been diagnosed with a [A]RDS prior
38:18 to the injection or [h]as the disease
38:19 disease not progress[ed] that for you
38:24 [Answer]yes so these patients are severe lung
38:28 disease but it's not [AR]DSS and I
38:32 think you know again what we're trying
38:35 to do is break up this vicious cycle of
38:40 means of coming in producing cytokines
38:43 which bring in more immune cells which
38:45 produce more other kinds and break that
38:48 vicious cycle before they get here
38:51 reversible lung damage and so we're very
38:55 hopeful
It is likely that you already knew this, just thought it was worth making this distinction.
