Right now, because of the limited supply of kits, you really have to almost have to have severe type symptoms to be tested. I have had several doctors tell me that they should have tested patients but were not allowed to because the symptoms were not severe enough and there were not enough testing kits on hand.
Actually Berman's theory is not to test those with severe symptoms. These sad souls and the doctors already know what they have. Why waste a kit in short supply. Rather Berman is in the process of creating a kit that will allow everyone to be tested, and then tested again and again. And to get an answer in a minute or two. Something a walk-in or walk-up will dig into their pockets and pay cash for a little peace of mind.
In another era, Berman and his advanced development team, and a fellow I call the other Matthew (Berman's personal expert consultant), would be considered for a Nobel prize if they pull this off. But that was then and this is now. There will be too many people claiming Berman is a crook, a thief, a self-dealer and worse.
With the current DECN method, if the patient tests positive, those in the 2%, he (the patient) can avail himself of confirmatory tests and enter the care system. What the naysayers, stock traders and those with BDS believe to be the latest Berman conspiracy, is actually a demand Berman paced on his advanced development team to make sure that those who test negative are not actually false negative. He thinks he can do this, and he thinks by doing this he can achieve ungodly market share. It will be a trade off of testing time, blood sample size and a little statistic Mr. Berman designed that will provide the test administrator the probability that the negative result reported is perhaps a false negative and requires re-testing.
This is why KB currently has no time to take advice, which is freely if not naively given, by stock traders, stock price engineers, the do and say anything crowd, even THE consultant to the industry.
I once heard an interesting comment made by a broker. He said a penny stock trader would sell out anything or anybody for a coupla penny gain on a stock. That means their souls and even their mothers.
