Apple has even had big public demos crash! Potential customers understand when you are showing a brand new bleeding edge product, and offering them a demo that Murphy’s Law can very well come into play.

Having had to give my fair share of demos to Dept of Defense customers for a product they have already paid for and we are developing for them, 100% of the demos have not gone smoothly. Never lost a customer as a result of that, other than perhaps some short-teen unpleasantness.

As a stockbroker a have faith in Verb’s team they will be well prepared for the demo and if on the odd chance something does not go 100% to plan they will be able to explain it and recover. I am sure they have the demo well planned and are rehearsing it quite a bit. They also don’t want to let down Nancy who is putting herself out there for this rollout of Verb Live.

On a related note, very pleased with Rory’s update. Definitely taking advantage of “strike while it is hot”. Very smart offering two months free, and on EDU rolling it out but making it known this free version still is not 100% complete.
