I can comment on this HHS BARDA news: I and others here have noted the opportunities of this type presented by the Feds for years to those who want to apply for BARDA grants. I brought it up in a conversation with the NanoLogix CEO some time ago and was informed that Nano had applied multiple times for many HHS offerings related to rapid diagnostics. They had also attended meetings and orientations in DC put on by BARDA. In every meeting the focus was on molecular diagnostics using some version of PCR. They were informed that there was no interest in use of an antibody/antigen or protein reaction technology. Their experience with this began back in their BNP era and continued through the N-Assay. The companies mentioned as having received the funding grants are adherents of PCR. It’s not a surprise that the Feds are closed minded on this. Bureaucracy works that way
