They're not looking for perfection in this emergency, they're looking for anything that can help.
The anti-malarials and Remdesivir are both really promising. I hope they will save a lot of lives, and in the case of the anti-malarials, help prevent healthcare workers from getting sick.
Longer-term, they're going to want to find drugs with fewer side effects and the greatest possible efficacy. That's where the tests on Brilacidin and drugs from other companies will come in -- hopefully.
