Here is mine.
Huge Trump fan. Like the way he operates. A bit over the top and full of self adulation but the guy flat out gets shit done. A cowboy in office and needed. Runs it like a business and “no” and “need more time” is not in his vocabulary or acceptable. At the same time he is a facilitator and gives credit and takes credit when shit gets done.
So, this Administration and country needs a flat out, no kidding, coronavirus win. A win that shows progress, ingenuity and the American spirit. You get what I’m sayin.
Assuming DECN and KB got this right (and full credit for giving it the American try as only we can, whether it be taking out Bin Laden, Perot rescuing his EDS execs in an Iranian prison or Silicon Valley leading a tech revolution) my WAG says Trump gets him and/or company reps to DC during the daily coronavirus update to give him and the company credit as they launch the blood test device.
What better example of a small business embracing the challenge with a “can do” approach and forever changing the course of history. At least virus testing history.
Top that off, Trump engages US companies to support the effort by funding and then tooling up auto plants and using US workers to increase manufacturing capacity.
We need a win. A big win. First is increasing testing with a low cost, real-time, do it yourself solution; second is treating the ill; third is finding a vaccine; and fourth is institutionalizing a series of irreversible corrective actions to make sure “we got this” for future generations.
That’s my WAG.
