The key are the doctors that are tending to the patients. They are the ones that "make the call". As per the CC they knew Dr. Paterson and they knew about CCR5 antagonists. So they where ready to try as soon as they had their questions answered by Dr. Paterson.
The question is: will there will be more doctors that will decide on Leronlimab for treatment for their patients?.
Two things have happened: we might get positive results from the ones treated, also, Dr. Paterson will have hard-core data on results as well.
So, at some stage , the gates will open and there will be more.
My first guess is that NewYork-Presbyterian will have many more patients that will use Leronlimab if the results are encouraging. Remember, unfortunately there is no scarcity of potential patients.
Is all in the docs hands.
