Growing up in a chiropractic family, we didn't go to the Dr., unless it was for stitches. If we had the flu, you had it, and dealt with it. If you had strep throat, you had it, sucked raw garlic, and dealt with it.
What that does is build your immune system up. Every time you take an antibiotic to take care of your ailment, it weakens your immune system, because it doesn't have to work as hard. Which now makes you more dependent on meds when you get sick. The last time I had the flu was over ten years ago, but it kicked my ass when I had it, but built my immune system up good.
It is jmo, but this will be a thing every year, just like the flu. If someone has a compromised immune system, or other health issues, the flu would probably be something they already are cautious about. If you get this, you probably would build an immunity to it. But might come back in different strains each year, like the flu. Again, I know there are people with different, ailments who can't risk getting this, so this post is not directed toward you. Just something to think about. GLTA!
