Hi Buildit,
honestly after all these silent days, I pretty much hope that they are being so silent for a VERY GOOD REASON, such as the one you are suggesting. That, in my eyes, definitely would give a good reason why they have been so silent in the last couple of weeks.
Other than that, there is no good reason why they would not be eligible for some US governmental funding or Gates foundation grant, which would support the development of a vaccine. If the Chinese believe that this is a good route to go to develop a CV vaccine than why on earth would it not at least be considered "promising enough" such that the US government could sponsor the efforts to progress the development!?
Since we haven't heard anything about all this, there HAS TO BE something going on BEHIND THE SCENES, or we should immediately fire the entire GNBT management team, should they simply not be smart enough to raise the finger and they "Hey, here we are, we have interesting and highly advanced technology at hand, such that we could come up with a vaccine quickly!"
So let's wait and see when they would drop the big BOMB!!
