US Gov turned down the WHO test which has worked for 60 countries. It helped South Korea flatten their curve.
CDC test was a disaster. And yes, bureaucratic red tape certainly didn’t help. Neither did dismantling the NSC’s pandemic response team in 2018.
Kushner literally asking doctor’s advice on Facebook. Meanwhile he’s “ex” owner of healthcare company he founded with his bro to cash in on testing.
Travel ban in China really helped. What other preemptive action was taken?
South Korea should have been a model for US. We squandered the headstart those other countries gave us and our testing has been among the worst and ranks alongside Vietnam per capita.
A lot of this criticism gets taken as partisan but it’s not (okay maybe a little where soulless Kushner is involved). It’s an empirical fact that America dropped the ball. Time to pick it up.
