I've said that the N-Assay is best in class, but I forgot to reiterate why: it is the most sensitive and the most accurate of tests. I was reminded of this when I heard someone on the tube saying the issue with these rapid tests coming available were not very sensitive nor very accurate.
The N-Assay has all the properties that was defined by...I forget who (WHO? CDC? other?) for being the ultimate diagnostic tool. In my mind, the Contractor moving forward with the N-Assay is a done deal -- just waiting for the official announcement. Like some others here have said, this is it. We finally have our time in the limelight. Though I am not cheerful about the circumstances under which this opportunity arose, I am happy that we get this shot vs. a long drug out one as the Company goes thru the slog of organically growing sales and attention.
As it feels like the world is coming to a stand still with potential +20% unemployment and economic depression looming all around me, I find it surreal that I may be a part of something...THE thing that may be the catalyst to bringing this COVID-19 pandemic under control. With the N-Assay, the people in charge could begin to speak with confidence and clarity about the plan to get things under control. After all, its all the uncertainty about who is infectious that is requiring the soon-to-be nationwide shelter-in-place protocols.
