NEWS! Brookfield Resources Inc. Comments on Importance of Airborne Geophysical Data to Identify Drill Targets
Brookfield Resources Inc. (BFLD) announced on January 23, 2013 their planned work program on their claims in the Cobequid Highlands, Nova Scotia. Brookfield’s first and second phase work program would include an airborne geophysical survey that would be combined with geological mapping. “This data collection will give us an accurate mineral potential evaluation of our site," explained Mr. Matteo Sacco; President and CEO of Brookfield Resources, Inc.
Geophysical methods can be used effectively to map the extent of alluvial channels and runs and to obtain a cost-effective solution together with drilling. The geophysical survey is often initially conducted to provide targets for drilling. These techniques along with our groundwork exploration can play an important role in defining pin pointed drill targets. Mr. Sacco further added that Brookfield is actively planning an expeditious schedule on its exploration permit for the Lily Ponds claims and with the airborne geophysical survey; the Company expects this to generate additional drill targets. This will confirm, refine or rule out previous drill targets by detecting anomalies that are consistent with lands that are rich in rare earth metals.
“We are eager to accelerate this initial project momentum so that we can compile all available information as we plan for our 2013 exploration program," commented Mr. Sacco.
