I could be remembering wrong but I thought they said the government lab was going to be starting with lab (non-clinical) tests for efficacy. The university certainly wouldn't have had time to add Bril to any vaccine.
This is going to take longer than people think, for them to test, decide whether they think it could be useful, and then design further tests. It's not like TV where the researcher stays up all night and has a drug the next morning.
So please everyone, stay reasonable about this and don't expect immediate news of success, or about the testing for that matter.
The worst-case scenario, which would be that it's not effective on the virus and they don't want to try it as a treatment, is still a plus for IPIX, because it means we got a bunch of research for free.
