Well, I can’t pretend to be a physician or to be on the front line. I’m not even sure I know what it means to manufacture a crisis. But I have a hard time believing that Italy is the victim of mass hysteria. The policies being implemented have such obviously dire economic consequences that they would only be considered under extreme duress. That is the kind of evidence that gets my attention.
